The Little Green building is dedicated to providing you with personalized and gentle care. What should I expect during my first dental visit?
On your first dental visit we will start with a thorough review of your oral hygiene and overall oral health, focusing on your teeth and gums. We will look for any build-up, check your gum health and attend to any pain or discomfort of many present. For adults, we can also perform an oral cancer screening, comprised of examining your neck, the inside of your mouth, your jaw and your tongue. We can also do a thorough dental cleaning. After this we can devise a customized plan to meet your needs and make sure your oral health is properly taken care of.
How often should I visit the dentist for routine check-ups and cleanings?
Regular visits to the dentist are very important! It would be reasonable to visit the dentist at least twice a year for an overall evaluation. On your yearly check-up we would perform deep cleanings, check for gum disease and cavities, and we could even recommend an X-ray depending on the specific situation. To know if you have any kind of gum disease keep the following signs in mind: loose or sensitive teeth, experiencing pain when chewing, gums that are red or swollen, they can also be tender or bleeding, a persistent bad breath or taste, if your gums start to pull away (or recede) from your teeth, any changes in how your teeth fit together when you bite or any change in the fit of your partial dentures.

To reach our clinic you can just take a quick 9 minute walk from Jane station or you can take a number of different bussing options to Jane St at Ardagh St to be dropped off right next to the dental clinic. Is there any parking?
There is no dedicated parking lot at our facility. However, there is free parking on Ardagh Street and many other side streets in the neighborhood. There is a meter parking on Jane right by the office.
Do you accept CDCP?
Yes, we do! Keep in mind however that this government plan has it’s limitations. We will inform you upfront if your service is covered and whether there would be an additional charge.

Our Convenient Location & Extended Hours
Our office has an easy to get to location whether our patients drive here, take public transit, or come in an Uber. Our hours range anywhere from 8am to 8pm depending on the day, and we are even open on Saturdays from 9am to 4pm to cater to patients who can’t come in during their busy work week. Our days and hours of operation are flexible to accommodate our patient’s unique lives, and we are always ready in case something unexpected comes up and an appointment needs to be changed.

The Little Green Building has been a community staple, and diligently improving people’s smiles and lives within the High Park & Bloor West community area for over 20 wonderful years. Our head dentist, Dr. Michael Paltsev has been taking care of our patient’s here since 1998, and has over 30 years of working experience in the industry. Dentistry is his life’s work, and he’s continually learning the fast-evolving craft to further add to and improve his skill-set in order to serve his patients with the high level of expertise that they expect and absolutely deserve. Aside from the wide selection of services that he passionately delivers on a daily basis, he also gets pleasure in taking an interest in his patient’s lives because he cares about them more than just on a professional level.

has been practicing dentistry at the Little Green Building since 1998. With over 30 years of experience in the industry he takes pride in continually improving his knowledge of the field through seminars, conventions and more. His goal is to ensure every patient is left feeling great about their smile and health.
MARGHERITA
has been employed at the Little Green Building since 2012. She brings with her 32 years of Dental Hygiene experience. She strives to create a comfortable and compassionate environment to obtain and achieve dental health goals. She is passionate about a healthy smile and is always willing to share her knowledge and experience.
Greene
Greene has been a part of this team since graduating from dental hygiene program at George Brown college in 2020. She firmly believes in delivering care with compassion, whilst being detail-oriented and attentive to patients’ needs. She speaks English and Korean.
JEANNE
Jeanne (pronounced Jon) has been a member of our team since 2020 and by now, has mastered all aspects of the job. Be it scheduling your appointment or resolving an insurance issue, she would-be the right person to ask. Jeanne is very kind and attentive to our patients’ needs. She speaks English and Filipino.
