What to do when you chip your teeth

Bleeding from a tooth requires immediate attention by the dentist. Repeat this process as needed. Then apply a cold compress to your face to reduce swelling. If the pain hasn’t subsided, take an over-the-counter pain reliever like ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
